Itinerary

Arrival in Chiang Mai

Our guide will pick you up from Chiang Mai International Airport. We will transfer you to hotel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. After that it’s time for you to relax or start exploring the city. Overnight in Chiang Mai Meals: None

The City of Chiang Mai

Today, we visit many of the city’s highlights including Wat Suan Dok, which known for its large number of white stupas; Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most famous holy temple on top of Mount Suthep; Wat Chedi Luang, a giant ruined stupa in the center of Chiang Mai; Wat Ched Yod, a unique and elegant temple built in 1453, to host the eighth World Buddhist Council. In addition, we visit Sankampang Handicraft Village, where the locals craft and sell handmade items such as umbrellas, silverware, silks, leathers and so on. Zipline!

After breakfast, we will drive to the zip-line site, where you will experience ziplining into the rainforest. No experience is necessary, and it’s not physical demanding, so If you can do some short hikes and climb stairs, it will be fun. After receiving a safety briefing and is personally equipped in the proper gear, you’re then ready to fly. Return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon. Overnight in Chiang Mai Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

The White Temple

Our journey to Chiang Rai begins today after breakfast. We will visit Chiang Dao Cave, and then Thaton Temple on the way. This is a large temple complex in a lovely area, located on top of a hill above the local village of Ban Thaton. Then we visit Wat Rong Khun, which is better known as the White Temple. It is one of the most recognizable temples in Thailand. After that, drive into the town of Chiang Rai and visit Wat Phra Kaew (Chiang Rai) and the museum, the place where the Emerald Buddha was found 700 years ago. Doi Tung & the Golden Triangle

In the morning, we head to Ruammit Karen Village. In this place, we will experience riding on the elephants along Mae Kok River. Then, we visit Doi Tung Royal Villa, former residence of mother of the present king, before visiting a botanic garden at the Mae Fah Luang Garden. After that, we drive up a steep hill to the very top of Doi Tung and visit an authentic temple, Wat Phra That Doi Tung. Then we continue our journey to the Karen Village and Pasak Temple. We will have lunch at the Golden Triangle. This was one of Asia’s two main opium-producing areas. Return to your hotel in Chiang Rai in the afternoon. Overnight in Chiang Rai Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
